Just wanted to say Hi.

My developer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using Movable-type on numerous websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform. I have heard good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!

WordPress appears to actually be more adaptable than BlogEngine. BlogEngine is more popular. But WordPress appears to be more customizable. Both are based off of html so they should be compatible. But there is always a chance you may need to adapt between the platforms. It isn't really the format (php, net) or the program that makes the difference. I actually use Vanilla Forums myself which is a different animal altogether. I hope this helps. Thank you for your wonderful comments and questions @StacyMonag . Much appreciated.
